Thor: The Dark World Movie ReviewChris Hemsworth as Thor is as god-like gorgeous than ever. He is shining in the screen with his very gorgeous physique and long blonde hair. And he is still very charming. He has this puppy-dog eye look charm especially when he is talking to Jane Foster played by the beautiful Natalie Portman. It shows how a god like him still has a human side who is very compassionate, romantic and concerned. He totally ditched the bad-boy image from the first installment.
But of course, Tom Hiddleston as Loki is the scene-stealer just like in the first movie. He is witty beyond words but his character has depth. His breakdown moment was just amazing. You can see the pain in his eyes, in his words and even in his long black hair. Loki is the type of villain that viewers come to love more and more.
All in all, Thor 2 is a great movie visually and story-wise. It still has this good balance of science and fantasy. Director Alan Taylor surely didn’t disappoint the viewers. And oh, Captain America’s short cameo was fun too.
